Golden Circle with the Adventure Park
The Adventure Park is the only one of its kind in Iceland, located in the beautiful geothermal rift-valley of Nesjavellir. The park is only about 35 km from the capital area and 20 km from Þingvellir National Park. Take the scenic route over Hengill volcano to Þingvellir NP via the Adventure Park and join us for some fun time in this beautiful area.

In the booking engine, you register for Obsticle course, but you can add Giant Swing in step two when booking.
The Adventure park contains about 50 different obsticles at 1m, 5m and 10m height, as well as a zip-line. Try… you will not regret it.
The Giant Swing is 12m high and the only one its kind Iceland. We lift you up to the height you want and you pull the mockery… do not miss this.
Duration: 1 – 2 hours, depending on the program, number of people in the park and interest of the participant
Kids 6 – 9 years must be accompanied by an adult on the obsticle course.
Climbing equipment is certified for up to 120 kg and accordingly we can not accommodate heavier individuals.
SAFETY
SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US!
We use the legendary Smart Belay X from Edilrid —now with innovative magnetic technology for continuous safety and maximum freedom of movement on the Adventure Park.
We are a member of the European Ropes Course Association, ERCA. We follow European standards for the park’s construction, safety equipment, staff training and safety of participants.
Please note that climbing equipment is not certified for more than 120 kg and according we can not accommodate heavier individuals in the park.
OUR FACILITIES
Due to a recommendation from Orkuveita Reykjavíkur, we can not recommend wading in the rivers that flow by the Adrenaline Park. This is a waste from Hellisheidi Geothermal Power Plant and we warn that the temperature can rise very quickly and it can be dangerous!

The adrenaline park is constantly being renewed and in the summer of 2021 the security system in the park was replaced, which offers the possibility that now there can be more people in each puzzle at the same time and thus help to get over. Puzzles have also been added and / or changed.
At the Adrenaline Park you will find a small heated service building and stands to improve the facilities even further.
A dry toilet is on site.
FIND THE ADRENALIN PARK AT NESJAVÖLLAR, A 35 MINUTE DRIVE DISTANCE FROM REYKJAVÍK
The adrenaline park is located at Nesjavellir, about one km from the Nesjavellir power plant.
The shortest route to Adrenalíngarðurinn from Reykjavík is via Nesjavallaleið and takes approx. 35 min. while driving:
Drive along Suðurlandsvegur, highway 1, from Reykjavík towards Selfoss past Rauðavatn. About 3 kilometers from Rauðavatn, turn left onto Nesjavallaleið, road 435, and drive as the road ends. When coming down from Hengill, turn right onto road 360 and then back to the right after 1 km into the turn-off to Nesjavellir power plant.
Nesjavellir is 38 km from Höfðabakkabrú.
